What is Globizzle?

Globizzle is a global market place that brokers media content between the media content provider (seller) and the media industry (buyer).

What makes Globizzle unique? ·

  • The seller can command their own price that they feel is reasonable for the content you are selling.
  • There is no mark up or amendment to your price. For example, if you are asking US$100 for your work, then the buyer will pay US$100. Upon the sale, Globizzle will receive a 10% commission of the sale price, with the balance payable to the seller no later than 10 working days.
  • Globizzle will broker sales of articles, interviews (audio), images (photographs), videos and cartoons ·
  • Globizzle is a mainstream news website. It is a place to buy and sell newsworthy media content. Content that does not fit that criteria may be taken off the site by Globizzle.
  • It is easy to search for your content. Simply search by keyword and all associated content will be made available. Use our Advanced Search to reduce the search criteria.
  • Globizzle is free to join. You can upload your content free of charge; only upon the sale of your content will a 10% commission be paid to Globizzle. No sale - no commission. If buying, you only pay the asking price with NO ADDITIONAL FEES.
  • Globizzle is a global marketplace for media content. It offers content providers exposure to the world’s media industry. The more newsworthy content that you upload, the higher the you are likely to generate income.
  • All content is bought and sold in United States Dollars (USD) via PAYPAL. Upon selling, all money is transferred to the sellers PAYPAL account within 10 working days in USD. NO MORE BAD DEBTS AND CHASING MONEY.
  • In order to transact (buy and/or sell) you MUST have an active paypal account. If you do not have a PAYPAL account, simply click here to set up an account. 

How much does it cost to be a member?

It is free for both content providers and purchasers to join Globizzle. All you need to do is register as a member which will require an email account and a PAYPAL account. All transactions on Globizzle are done via PAYPAL. Registering as a member is simple – it only takes a couple of minutes – and you can submit and purchase content immediately. I signed up but did not receive a confirmation email. What shall I do?

If you did not receive a confirmation email, please Contact Us and we will investigate. We will need to know your name and the email address you signed up with.

I have forgotten my password. What shall I do? To reset your password please click here. If for any reason you are still unable to log in, please Contact Us.

How do I edit my account details?

To update your account details, click on Account Settings under Your Account. From this page you can change all of the fields in your profile, including your login email address, PayPal email address and contact details.

How do I add or update my CV?

Click on Update Your CV under Your Account. You can add and edit your Summary, profile picture, Experience and Education.

Is it important for me to populate my CV?

Yes. By updating your CV, you are enhancing your ability to sell content. It is an opportunity for you to showcase your experience and education to date and buyers / potential buyers will want to know that they are purchasing content from a credible source.

How do I know my account status?

After logging in, click on Account Summary under Your Account. You have access at all times to your account details. You will be kept up to date with all statistics associated with your accounts including details of content sold, your last transaction and your income to date.

Can I have more than one account?

No. As per our Terms of Membership and Use, you can only have a single account which is directly linked to your email address and your Paypal account. Attempting to open more than one account will result in your account(s) being terminated from Globizzle with immediate effect.

What is an Account Upgrade?

By clicking on Account Upgrade under Your Account you can select to become a Globizzle Pro Member. Each registered member is given an allowance of 1GB to upload free of charge. If a content provider wishes to exceed this generous allowance, they need to Upgrade their Account. For just $US29.99 per quarter, you will then have an an allowanced of a massive 10GB of storage capacity.

About PayPal, selling content & getting paid I don’t have a PayPal account. Can I still join Globizzle?

In order to transact on Globizzle, you must have an active PAYPAL account. During the registration process, if you do not already have a PayPal account, the Globizzle site will direct you to PayPal and you can establish an account while you are online.

How much does a PayPal account cost?

How am I notified when my content is sold?

You will receive an email from Globizzle informing you of any content sold.

I have sold content but I have not yet been paid. What should I do?

Once your content has been purchased, it can take up to 10 working days for payment to reach your account. In the unlikely event that after this time you have still not been paid, please Contact Us with your username / email address and details of the payment outstanding and we will investigate.

About submitting & managing content. What kind of content can I submit to Globizzle?

You can submit any kind of content; articles, interviews (audio), images, video and cartoon. Globizzle welcomes and encourages content on all topics and from all viewpoints.

What is the difference between an exclusive and a non-exclusive licence?

A non-exclusive licence grants the purchaser permission to use the media content, but others will also have this right. The seller of media content subject to a non-exclusive licence can still sell, copy, reproduce or provide the media content to someone else. All intellectual property rights including copyright in the media content remains with the seller of the media. The purchaser can change up to 20% of the media content, provided the change is for editorial purposes and the creator is attributed.

An exclusive licence grants the purchaser permission to use the media content, but no-one else has this right. The media content is sold only to the one purchaser and once the sale is completed the seller cannot not licence, sell, copy, reproduce or provide the media content to anyone else. All ownership and intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the media content pass to the purchaser. The purchaser can alter the entirety of the media content and there is no requirement to attribute the creator, unless provided otherwise.

Different obligations are imposed on the purchaser depending on whether they are buying media content subject to an exclusive or a non-exclusive licence, so it is important you carefully review the terms and conditions before purchasing.

What kind of content can I NOT submit to Globizzle?

You cannot submit content ·

  • of an adult nature ·
  • advertisements, promotional content or content with affiliate links ·
  • reviews of a product or a service that you received for free or reviews of your own product or service ·
  • plagarised content or content that infringes copyright laws ·
  • classifieds or offensive content ·
  • content that is not newsworthy, is of poor quality or is badly formatted ·
  • content that is in violation with Globizzle’s Terms of Membership and Use.

 

Why is my content no longer visible on Globizzle?

Whilst Globizzle is in no way liable for the content added to the site, as per the Terms of Membership and Use, management reserves the right to remove any content that is not newsworthy or that does not comply with the Terms of Membership and Use.

How do I submit content?

Submitting content is quick and easy with Globizzle. You need to be a member first so register and / or log in and then click on Submit Content from the menu bar. Select the appropriate Media Type; Article, Images, Cartoon, Audio or Video and then complete the simple form. If you have any questions, please Contact Us and we will help you.

When submitting content, please note the following:

  • Articles

Text can be pasted ditrectly on the page. You are also given the option of uploading up to 5 images that will complement your article. Please note that the price that you ask is for the complete package of text and images.

Also, please note that it is a requirement to note the file format for the images so that the buyer is able to ensure their ability to download these images.

  • Images

You have the option of uploadig an image. You will required to add an Image Title and Product Description, both of which will be used for by prospective buyers in their search for your images.

Images files will be uploaded directly. 

  • Cartoons

You have the option of uploadig a cartoon. You will required to add a Cartoon Title and Product Description, both of which will be used for by prospective buyers in their search for your cartoons.

Cartoon files will be uploaded directly. 

  • Audio / Video

You have the option of uploadig an audio or video file. You will required to add a Audio or Video Title and Product Description, both of which will be used for by prospective buyers in their search for your content.

Both audi and video also have a requirement for a Screen Shot image and a preview file. This image will be shown when you content is being searched and should be relevant to the tpoic of the content that you are selling.

So, to be clear, when uploading audio and video, you will be required to upload 3 files :

1. Screen shot image relenat to the content in which you are seeking to sell (Optional)

2. A grab of the content that will be available to non members who may be searching for content that meet your search criteria. It is important to note that this "grab" should be iteresting enough to get the potential buyer to log in and hear the total file in which you are looking to sell. It should be a 10-15 second preview of your content.

3. you will then upload the totoal content file that you are wanting to sell. Once a member is logged in, they will be able to then listen to the total file and determine if they want to buy it. 

When submitting an ARTICLE, can I copy and paste my content from another programme?

Yes.  simply cut ad paste into the blank field in the upload content section.

How much content can I submit to Globizzle?

The site has been established to create a global market place and to bring content providers and content purchasers together. The greatest benefit of the site is that you can submit as much content as you wish. This enables content creators to always have their work for sale in the global market place. Each registered member is given an allowance of 1GB to upload free of charge. If a content provider wishes to exceed this allowance, they will be offered the opportunity to become a Pro Member and thereby increase their allowance to 10GB storage capacity for just $US29.99 per quarter.

Can I edit or delete the content I have uploaded?

You have full access at all times to the articles you have uploaded. Before your content is sold, you can remove content from the site, revise sale prices, edit content, change search words, change whether it is for exclusive or non-exclusive use and / or make any other changes you wish.

Is my content secure?

Content can be searched by anyone entering the site, however full content is only visible to verified and current members. Images and Cartoons can be viewed but only be download once purchased. Audio and video can have preview files reviewed by non members, however, only registed members can review the total files and make a purchase thereafter.

Once I am a member, how do I search for content?

Like a search engine, simply put in your search words and our highly technical search engine will review the content data base to find any word matches. It will search all articles but will be limited to the titles of the images, videos, audios and cartoons. You can also choose to do an Advanced Search which will enable you to search by exact words or phrases, author and / or star rating. Non-members will be able to see a preview of the content only.

How do I get paid for my content?

When content is purchased from the site, the transaction is routed through PayPal. The purchaser downloads the content and transfers the purchase price to Globizzle. No later than 10 working days after the transaction, Globizzle will send the funds to the content creator, less the Globizzle commission of 10% of the transaction value.

About purchasing content. What is the star rating?

The star rating provides members with an indication as to the quality of the content provider by the number of successful sales they have generated via Globizzle. The star rating is as follows:

* 1-25 sales

** 26-50 sales

*** 51-75 sales

**** 76-100 sales

***** 101+ sales

Who is responsible for the integrity and facts within purchased content?

The buyers agrees to purchase the content on the basis of how it is represented from the seller. Should a seller be found to be submitting content which is i breach of the Terms of membership and Use and/or Browser Terms of Use, they can be immediately have their membership cancelled.

How do I receive the content once I have purchased it?

A link will be emailed to you with the content that you have purchased. It is very important to ensure that the email address you provide during registration is correct as this is where the content will be sent to.

How long do I wait for the content once I have purchased it?

The content will be emailed to you within an hour, once the purchasing process is completed.

What if I don’t receive the email with the content link?

All of the content that you purchased will be stored on YOUR ACCOUNT page. There may be some cases where firewalls will not allow the email through. If this happens simply retrieve your content from YOUR ACCOUNT page. Content will remain there for a period of two weeks following purchase.

What if I don’t receive the content that I have purchased?

The responsibility for the content being represented to the buyer as shown on the site rests solely with the seller. If the buyer is aggrieved that they have been misrepresented then they have three working days from the date of sale to Contact Us. Globizzle will investigate any claims and if necessary, refund the money in full. If the conduct of the seller is deemed to have been deliberately misleading, then Globizzle reserves the right to suspend or terminate the seller from using the site with immediate effect.

Is there a Returns Policy?

It is important to note that there is no Return Policy. Except in the case where it is deemed that a buyer has been deliberately misrepresented, there will be no refunds or credits.

About Privacy, Copyright, Infringement & Legal Issues. Who is eligible to purchase and sell content on Globizzle?

You must be 18 years of age to become a member and submit, buy and sell content on Globizzle. You must also adhere to the Terms & Conditions of Paypal, as well as the Terms of Membership and Use and Browser Terms of Use.

Is my privacy protected?

Under no circumstances will Globizzle sell details of any of our registered users to any third party without the your permission. Globizzle will not forward on any contact details to any sellers. Globizzle will only supply details of users if required by law.

What do I do in cases of Copyright Theft?

With today’s world wide web, copyright theft is unfortunately unavoidable but by placing your content on Globizzle, you are helping to protect yourself from copyright / infringement issues by generating a paper trail. Globizzle, for a nominal fee of $US 20, can provide you with written evidence of the ownership of your content and thereby enable you to take the appropriate legal action. Please Contact Us with details of the content that has been subject to theft and we will supply the necessary verification.

What are the rules on submitting content for sale which could be seen as Advertising?

As per our Terms of Membership and Use;

· you cannot submit content that is a review of a product or service if you received that product or service for free
